public fury. public joy. public love. public dance.
The 2026 Summer Intensive Series explores love’s many facets as a public practice. What does it mean to expand our notions of love beyond personal experiences of emotion and into the realm of collective action? What resistive possibilities does love teach in times of tyranny, fascism, and genocide? What does love require of us now? And how does love shape what comes after?
This year’s programming offers two streams of participation. The first is Yorchhā Jugaad, inviting exploration of the devised Jugaad practice that ‘hacks’ systemic structures to connect to collective joy and freedom. The second is Buniyaad, an immersive study in the technical, intellectual, emotional, and creative foundations of Yorchhā.
