Ananya Dance Theatre’s 2022 Summer Intensive focuses on an embodied practice that recognizes the need for renewal. Rejuvenation is not a given, it is a practice that requires creativity, repetition, and curiosity so we can recognize where our bodies store pain, what old skins we can shed, and where we can revitalize our cellular capacity. These rituals of rejuvenation lead us to dance with joy, fullness, emotion, breath, fierceness, and solidarity.
