FREE EVENT • Learn about “Horidraa: Golden Healing,” our 2016 production, and how to watch abstract, metaphoric dance. Our Audience Empowerment Workshop/Open Rehearsal happens Monday, August 22, 6:30pm-8pm.
This event is FREE, open to the public, and takes place at the Frey Theater in The O’Shaughnessy complex at St. Catherine University, 2004 Randolph Avenue, Saint Paul.
ADT dancers will perform excerpts from “Horidraa.” These excerpts will alternate with questions and conversations between the workshop attendees and the dancers. An opportunity for attendees to participate with the dancers in making movement from “Horidraa” will end the workshop.
As an option to help you make the most of the Audience Empowerment Workshop, we invite you to review the four short videos that describe the foundations of our artistic practice, Yorchha, Shawngram, Aanch, and Daak: http://
The O’Shaughnessy offers free parking, and is accessible via bus and bus transfers from the Blue and Green LRT lines: http://www.metrotransit.org/.
The O’Shaughnessy offers large print programs, seating for individuals in wheelchairs, along with accompanying companion seating located in the same area, and holds seating for patrons who are hard of hearing or visually disabled. If you have an accessibility request, please explain it to the ticket office and we will do our best to seat you in a location that accommodates your needs.
