FREE EVENT • The Little Mekong Night Market is the Twin Cities’s Asian-inspired twilight street market, located in the heart of the Little Mekong District in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Little Mekong Night Market returns for a third year and promises an opportunity to experience the sights, smells, sounds, and tastes of traditional Southeast Asian night markets with a twist of Minnesota, right in St. Paul.
For two nights, July 23, 5pm-Mdnt, and July 24, 5pm-10pm, the market will boast food, arts & crafts, and merchandise from a variety of local vendors. Attendees can also expect to see a wide range of cultural performances from across the Twin Cities and partake in free, artist-led activities.
Ananya Dance Theatre will perform Sunday, July 24, 5:30pm-5:45pm. The performance will take place on the “Mystic Lake Stage” northwest of the intersection of Western & Aurora avenues, St. Paul (see map at: http://www.littlemekong.com/).
The Night Market is free and open to all ages, happening right off the Green Line Western Avenue Station, as well as several parking options and bike racks provided by NiceRide MN.
Little Mekong is the Asian business and cultural district in Saint Paul. Located between Mackubin and Galtier streets along University Avenue, the district boasts a diversity of cultures, top rated restaurants and unique shopping experiences. Visitors come to Little Mekong to experience the unique culture and flavors of Southeast Asia.
The neighborhoods around Little Mekong include Frogtown and Summit-University. Little Mekong is accessible from I-94 via the Dale Street and Marion Street exits, and via the LRT Green Line.
